Mr Adam Thorne

In Tae Kwon Do there are different skill areas we learn.
They are:

Fitness – Improving overall fitness strength and flexibility

Basic movements - How to stand, move, kick, block and punch

Patterns - A series of learnt movements showing different techniques

Sparring - Working with a partner showing learnt technique

Self Defence - Learning how to protect yourself

Breaking - Learning how to use power and technique to break wood or other types of boards

Theory - Learning how each move works and some basic Korean words.

 

If it is your first time please wear loose sports clothing. Tracksuit bottoms and a T Shirt are recommended.
